Hey I have a question about the Hammer FInancial Score;
I live in Europe and my boss pays towards my retirement, does that count for anything in the test?
Also got some student loans against 0% interest, would that change the score?

Would a personal loan not have been a good choice for her? Her behavior would need to change, of course, but that would give her a single monthly payment and only one interest rate to worry about vs a bunch of credit cards with close to 30% interest rates. That’s what I would personally do in her position
there has to be more with the relationship aspect because i find it hard to believe (don’t get me wrong she could be 100% telling the truth) that he would put a job over her or they couldn’t even attempt long distance??

Maintenance is on new and old cars… they all have fluids that do need to be changed so often and most new cars (not all) but they have break in fluids for things like diffs transfer cases that kinda thing so they have to be changed earlier then normal the first time
A bankruptcy is not a 10 year death knell. Calling debt collectors is a thing, they have discretionary power to settle. They are human beings, if you talk nice, they play fair. They really appreciate people who are willing to face the music.
In January 2012, I married someone who had a 6 month old bankruptcy. They worked through the black marks on their credit slate. It took 2 and a half years to be able to qualify for a 250k loan on a home, they worked it like a job. We were team drivers and lived on a semi for 18 entire months before getting our first apartment, but we were choppin’ tall cotton TOGETHER, in way less than ten years.
Caleb is right, sacrificing is an absolute essential in the equation. But the possibilities are endless if you are determined to do the right thing….God blesses our obedience…and stealing is disobedience.
This show gives me so much anxiety. How people can live with so much over their head ill never know. Keeps me motivated not to create debt and save. So greatful i have no debt 😅

Debt free 27 year old here. Watching your channel and showing my girlfriend has sparked financial conversations for us and budgeting is something I’m actually trying to do and commit to. From 18-25 I didn’t save a dime and even got myself into some small credit card debt. Glad to be out of it, and to have my emergency fund fully reached. Next is saving for retirement! Thanks again Caleb and your team for doing what you do. This channel has encouraged me to become more financially responsible far more than any school or government program growing up did.

At 17 I found out I had Graves disease, hyperthyroidism and a goiter and I was septic at one point when I was 18. I was sick continually for 2 yrs due to poor decision making on my parents front. I had a total thyroid removal at 19. I took 1 week off of work from Lowes for the surgery. Had it done on a Wednesday had wed, Thurs, Fri off and already had the weekend off, by Monday my ass was back to work with a horrific looking cut on my neck. If I can do that, graduate while sick, work, and even become a cna after having my surgery. IF YOU WANT TO YOU WILL. ITS ALL ON YOU. I WORKED MY ASS OFF AS A YOUNG WOMAN THAT IS STILL TODAY SICK ASF FROM THE COMPLICATIONS FROM BEING SICK SO LONG. DO BETTER FOR YOURSELF.
