Warning: Don't use acorns. They need to answer trading commissions Opened account with them. Dont understand why money was deposited. Didn't know they charge 12 dollars to trade, and they have frozen my account. Customer service you can't understand overseas.
Am 58 retiring next year but the thought of retirement gives me weakness. My apologies to everyone who have retired and filing social security during this time after putting in all those years of work just to lose everything to a problem you never imagined to happen. Itโs so difficult for people who are retired and have no savings or loved ones to fall back on.

Why not just look up what ETFs and etc they use and invest on your own? Why not round up into a high yield savings? So many other free options

I joined the Acorn App,
but I must have had an angel watching over me, the first time everything was wonderful, all the information I entered was accepted,
I received an email from them let me know I needed to be verified…
Aaa What?!
I entered my information once again, and received an email from them letting me know my Social Security # was invalid! ๐ฎ
What!?
That was just too strange? ๐ค
I apply for the third time, and again it said the same thing???
I need it to be verified…
So I think I'm just going to delete this app and never allow it to darken my laptop notepad or cell phone again..

Okay well if acorns does the stock trades for me as I understand then that means not only am I saving up money but they are trading for me and making me money? I have a brain the size of a walnut Iโm trying to understand lol
So youโre saying or what it sounds like to me is that this is more of an app that rounds up your expenses? You donโt trade stocks in this app? I wanted to get into stock trading for the extra income but now Iโm not so sure if I should get acorns and look for another app
