Warning: Don't use acorns. They need to answer trading commissions Opened account with them. Dont understand why money was deposited. Didn't know they charge 12 dollars to trade, and they have frozen my account. Customer service you can't understand overseas.
Am 58 retiring next year but the thought of retirement gives me weakness. My apologies to everyone who have retired and filing social security during this time after putting in all those years of work just to lose everything to a problem you never imagined to happen. It’s so difficult for people who are retired and have no savings or loved ones to fall back on.
I appreciate the knowledge. I needed to know more information on the Acorn app before deciding whether I should use it or not. Awesome video and advice. # What you MUST know about Acorns Investing – Graham Stephan
Dude will die on the “free vs. FEE” Hill, Jesus! For most of us, $12 bucks a year is worth learning how to invest my money…..which I thought this video was.
I am so glad I came across this video, I joined the Acorn App, but I must have had an angel watching over me, the first time everything was wonderful, all the information I entered was accepted, I received an email from them let me know I needed to be verified… Aaa What?!
I entered my information once again, and received an email from them letting me know my Social Security # was invalid! 😮 What!? That was just too strange? 🤔 I apply for the third time, and again it said the same thing??? I need it to be verified… So I think I'm just going to delete this app and never allow it to darken my laptop notepad or cell phone again.. Thank you so much for this video…
Thank you for the deep dive into acorns. It made my decision clear. No need for me to sign up. I am curious tho about the fidelity and vanguard options. Do you have any videos explains those
I was so excited to use this as I’m a college student athlete for waterpolo but their FEES have TRIPPLED and they NO LONGER have the FEE WAIVER for College students
Okay well if acorns does the stock trades for me as I understand then that means not only am I saving up money but they are trading for me and making me money? I have a brain the size of a walnut I’m trying to understand lol
So you’re saying or what it sounds like to me is that this is more of an app that rounds up your expenses? You don’t trade stocks in this app? I wanted to get into stock trading for the extra income but now I’m not so sure if I should get acorns and look for another app

Why not just look up what ETFs and etc they use and invest on your own? Why not round up into a high yield savings? So many other free options
Appreciate your advice thank you, their fees have tripled, you should do an update video with the new fees lol

Can you invest in Acorn from countries other than the US?
You run one purchase around $50/mo thru the app with a merchant kickback and you’re good on the fee
I'm dumb…. I have not have $45 in my savings Sigh…
Acorns plans are now $3 for Personal, $6 for Personal Plus, and $12 for Premium. So much for the $1, $2, and $3 prices 😢

Are there any other companies / banks that will round up purchases without the fee?

It is with great satisfaction that we acknowledge the successful receipt of the BTC transaction.
By the whims of a system error, the transaction was sent to an invalid email address.
It’s 2024 and there fees have gone up
To complicated
If you add in $20.00 a week that fee is significantly less so even just for the convenience it seems nice
No harm is a good thing!
I’m super confused 🤔 it’s just a dollar lol I gamble wayyyyy more then just one dollar 😅😅
“Least favorite word fee”
