Buffet says: as long as America is doing well, your money is doing well…… America is doing well by making wars and killing innocent people in Japan and Afghanistan and Iraq and Syria and Palestine and and and….. how sad is this !!!!
Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got to talking about investment and money. I started investing below the $100k mark and in the first 2 months, my portfolio was reading $234,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest a huge percentage of my profit and it got more interesting.! For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home at the beginning of summer.
OMG. The best advice ever. I just began my investment journey, at 69, and decided all I wanted to do was plunk my money down in a couple of companies that I believed in, and hopefully watch it grow over time. WB just confirmed that is the best strategy possible, especially for someone who knows nothing about the stock market. Investing in Palantir, not because it's hot now (well, maybe a little), but because I believe that their AI strategy and business plan are going to win long term. Thank you WB!
Just what I needed to watch. My wife and I are directors of our farm business and own property, plus small pensions. I am nearly 55, my wife is 52. We have started to save to retire from the farm, and possibly live on rental income, I'd really appreciate you go LIVE and talk about how to earn passive income online and retire comfortably, let’s say $1M.
big returns come from investing big. investing big comes from building conviction, conviction comes from understanding, understanding comes from doing your homework and research beyond surface level.
Successful investing is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament.
To put in perspective he talks so simple but it wasnt that simple.. the 10k from 1942 is equivalent to 183k today, so for our time line it would be usa gets into WW3 you put in 185k in sp500, and hope usa outperforms the world for the next 100years…
Your analysis is inspiring and mine is similar. Getting the best strategies for short term/long-term trading involves a lot and I stayed determined, took risks and also learned from my mistakes. Considering how beneficial my investing in trade has been lately, my target is to hit 1million by January 2025 and I believe it is achievable
I've been working hard to save money and contribute to early retirement and financial independence, but the economy has destroyed the majority of my portfolio since the pandemic. I want to know if I should continue to make contributions to my portfolio in these erratic markets or if I should look into other industries.
I’ve been diligently working, saving and contributing towards financial freedom and early retirement, but the economy so far since the pandemic has eaten away most of my portfolio, what I want to know is this: Do I keep contributing to my portfolio in these unstable markets or do I look into alternative sectors.
Alright, here I am, sitting on a nice $233k emergency fund, ready to take the plunge into the wild world of investing. I’ve been saving for this day, and now I’m just looking for the right strategy to grow it into millions like Warren says. I mean, turning $10k into millions? That sounds like my kind of challenge. But hey, I need a headstart! Anybody got any ideas?
I'm new to investing with about $250k saved and ready to invest in stocks, and would like some expert advice on the best strategies and resources for beginners.
You wouldn't have to do anything… except have 10k in 194-whatever that you could let sit for 70+ years, hoping you'd live lkng enough to enjoy it for a few years until you died.

More money are lost making some mistakes in market crash like: rushing to buy stocks, having a get rich quick mindset, micromanaging your portfolio

CWAN should make new base. Has good earnings. I am thinking it should double in a year. But I sold early. Always STOPs in to limit risk.

I think his numbers are off on the 10000 invested since 1942 = 52 million.
