If she really wants to adopt she should wait until all her credit is cleared up, gets a better job and have at least a home, six months emergency fund and a healthy savings account. She has no idea the cost of raising a child and what child care would cost when she is working. I have a feeling she will just go on welfare and the child will grow up in poverty and a stressed out parent trying to pay bills while raising a child on their own. It is not easy and from what she has been saying she has no idea what it means to raise a child.

As much as I don't want to wish ill on someone, I'm glad the ex is thriving in comparison to where she is right now. The things she did probably broke him mentally and emotionally, and she deserves to feel regret after that. He will always be the one who got away to her, and she should 100% know that that is her fault. I hope she can learn from her mistakes and get out of her situation, but 100% she deserved those consequences.
