Why is he acting like his family from back home not sending him cash? You know he going to file to get them citizenship as well.
It's a nightmare for ( anyone ) not just immigrants moving to another country. that starts with no family to back financially or co sign for a house , car or give family house / cash as inheritance.
Where can I sign up for the โonly $40,000 college degree debtโ? Cause Iโm still getting my PharmD and Iโm WAY WAY WAY past that XD but the car was about right! Donโt know if my generation is allowed to buy houses anymoreโฆso thatโsโฆgreat!
Itโs not as bad as it is made out to be. Work a shit ton.. in the u.s you can actually work your way out of povertyโฆ you canโt do that in real poor countries like the phillipines.
Only stupid people fall for this. Worked my ass of as a student got in almost full ride with 5k in loans and spent months looking for the perfect used car that I maintain I got it for 6k.
The American Dream was possible before wages stagnated, entry level jobs started asking for degrees, and college started costing the same as a down payment on a house.
Many ways to get aeound this, join the millitary, (this will pay off your collage) use public transportation, and hell, just get a small house somewhere.
I make over 100k with no CD and payed for my house and drive used cars/trucks and we bought land to put a new house. People don't need a CD ๐๐ ๐
I'm driving Uber 12 hours a day 6 days a week … Just so I won't have to get in debt and to also fund my own business … It's not easy being free before retirement It takes a lot of suffering to get there before 35 ๐
You can go to community college for much less than 40K and many CCs now have 4 year degrees. Also, you'll make the most money off a STEM degree. You can get a used car and keep it for years to avoid car payments and high insurance. Much of this is about choices and making wise decisions. You CAN be successful.
Thatโs not an American dream, however a lot of people love the English dream, because they all come over on a boat and they get accommodation money and all that stuff for nothing no debt no hassle no grief thatโs the British dream ๐๐๐
Go to a local state college. Its not $40,000 and there is financial aid fafsa. I got my bachelors degree in psychology and a Master of Social Work degree. Only $7000 came out of my pocket. No debt. And got a job as a mental health clinician two months after graduating with my masters. Its completely possible to go to college without having to take student loans and be in debt. 1. Go to a state university. 2. Apply for financial aid. 3.avoid for profit colleges and private universities.
As an American I've always thought the American dream was uninteresting. I don't want a house or a fancy car or really any material things that I don't need.
The American Dream is the American Banks, use the Banks for your own Profit and not for useless stuff. We Europeans would love to have the Banks yall have, cause we need a very good Credit Score for every Loan we Need, the Banks are 65% more careful with Loan giving here in Europe. Appreciate what you have America, but use it the Right Way!

Well get things on loan and then go bankrupt. Live the American dream until loan disqualification resets
