Dear princess, I think you need a healthy dose of reality. My suggestion to you is: go volunteer for some NGOs, ideally find some project that will detach you from your social context and let you live for a month with some truly poor people…like helping farmers in Africa or South America, or helping with war refugees…do this for a month and then think again about the sentence "a friend of mine had a private jet".

A real 'traditional wife' doesn't just sit at home playing all day. They cook, clean, care for children, run all the errands, perform or organize all of the home's upkeeping (repairs and such), possibly do homeschooling for their kids, and some even run small in-home businesses or do work from home for other businesses. And God forbid you own a farm and are a traditional wife, then you can add on hard labor and bookkeeping to all of the above.
Contrary to current popular belief, they do pull their weight.
Now, if you are extremely wealthy and pay other people to do these jobs for you, that's different, but that is no longer a traditional wife, that is a 'trophy wife'. There is a difference.
I think traditional wives deserve more respect than they are given nowadays and shouldn't be confused with trophy wives.
I honestly can't hate her. She's just probably cusioned well. Her parents created her habits.
