I’ve been hearing a lot about Roth IRAs lately, and I’m thinking about opening one. It seems like a great option for long-term retirement savings, but I don’t really know where to start.
I’m new to this. Just down and loaded the app today. For the S&P 500 ETF, you said we only need ETF. So do I max out my full $7000 into that one specific portfolio only ? Once it’s maxed out, am I able to still put money into Fidelity and place it into other portfolios?
What if the broker/bank you use you don't end up liking (ex. Confusing interface for beginner) and want to close that account and try another bank? Is it possible or does the 5 year rule apply?
Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤ I already have 2 accounts with Fidelity with my jobs. I invest in Roth at 10% monthly, how do I buy shares now in those accounts?
If I had $560k I would invest $100k in tech & $460k into dividend stock with a proven track record to grow with capital appreciation & dividend increase year over year
I love yr videos! I am 62 and I have my own business! I started investing few years ago! Everyone says I am too late to invest in a Roth IRA. I would like to hear yr thoughts and suggestions please! Thank you so much
I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Charlotte Grace Miller.
Curious about top investors' millionaire-making strategies, I'm eager to grow my $295,000 nest egg. Investing in stocks could provide attractive returns through capital appreciation and dividend yields. But timing is crucial – should I invest now or wait for improved market conditions?
I'm ecstatic with Trump's win and the year-end market surge. Which hidden jewels in the upcoming bull run would you buy with 150k right now? My goal is to position myself for a prosperous Q1 in 2025.
I opened an ROTH IRA at the age of 27 and put the maximum amount possible for 2024. I feel foolish for letting my life fall into order so slowly. The issue at hand is how to invest the funds most profitably in order to save for retirement
I am on my 2nd month of Vanguard Roth IRA, thanks to you! I am putting in $400/mo right now, $200 auto and around $200 more if I can. I am now figuring out how to make the purchases of my ETF choice (VOO) automatic too, so I don't have to keep logging in to do that part. Thank you, you are great!
So in my Roth IRA if I buy vanguard S&P 500 at $500 just that 1 asset can I just keep adding my $500 a month to my Vanguard asset or do I have to keep buying more assets like individual stocks or other assets that follow the S&P?
I’ve been holding off into making an account and investing, but I finally did today. Thanks to you! Deposited enough money to buy one share of SPY, now the year is almost gonna end with $7k as a max. Would you recommend I deposit its maximum and buy ONLY SPY shares worth 7k all at one time? If so does the time of the day matter into buying shares? I’m really just a beginner at this so any help would be much appreciated! Again, thank you so much for such insightful informations!
Thank you so much! This is the best tutorial I’ve come across thus far. Yes, I’ve made the mistake of just adding money into a Roth IRA and did not invest it – thank you so much for taking the time to break down each step and actually showing how to do it on the website

Can one put in more money than the max amount for example if the limit is 8000 thousand can one put in 10 thousand?

What if you only invest 200 a month do you wait until you buy a full share of the s&p or can you just buy a partial share each month
