So ein Quatsch das ist schon seit 10 bis 15 Jahren ein gutes Geschäft in Norwegen mit den Kabben. Da hat der Ukraine Krieg überhaupt nichts mit zu tun.
There's NOT only one place that Westerners can buy it! You can get plenty of Kings from Alaska! The prices are ridiculous but people will pay.. It's to bad because only thr wealthy can enjoy Kings on a regular basis… Kinda SUCKS!
This introduced species is a voracious predator and a catastrophe for the local ecosystem. Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to eradicate this introduced species given the massive number of animals and the fact that they have been spreading already since many years, but they could at least be reduced significantly and deliberately overfished… I find it appalling that this invasive species is being protected in order to make more money. This means that it will continue to spread fast and destroy sensitive ecosystems in the process. This greed for money is turning entire ecosystems upside down forever… Norway is definitely not a poor country and could afford to protect its nature!
kind of curious to see if it tastes the same as Alaskan King crab or if it has a slightly different flavor. i assume its pretty similar, but its a whole differet ecosystem, so i guess it could be different
My favorite fish is halibut, and I have fished for it in Alaska a couple times, with mixed results. If I could catch halibut in Norway, and also bring back some king crab, count me in! Apparently, the hardest part is getting to Bugoynes. My preliminary search for flights to Kirkenes Airport (50 miles away) showed itineraries of 33+ hours, 3-4 stops, and prices around $2,500 for economy. I could not endure an economy seat for that long. Unless I score some great deal with miles, it doesn't look like I will be fishing in Bugoynes any time soon. ☹
Norway has been fishing for king crab for decades. The fact that more money is being made from the king crab now is due to sanctions against Russia, in the same way that the USA is making large amounts of money from oil in the same situation. The fact that Norway is in the king crab segment is clearly a competitive advantage, nothing else 😊

Was für schlechte Synchronsprecher
They have to put in limits otherwise they will overfish the crab !😱👍

So Alaska has no King crab😂😂😂
The fishery politics in the North are much more intricate than what people even consider.
Alaska also has king crab.

You are forgetting Alaska. How much more.
You mean NATO's war against Russia.
You spelled “the US proxy war against Russia” wrong again. Surely an oversight…
I hope this revenue is finding its way into the sovereign wealth fund
Godspeed, Norway!…
Conglomerates chuckle.
Notice no1 talks about the Families of the RUSSIAN Fishermans…………….. they portray them as some EVIL while lining there own pockets
…love to see info on King Crab without Sig and the Deadliest Hairdressers 👌

So, the real winner of the 2024 election was the King Crab.
er der noen norske her?
Talk about a Win-Win! Great product from sustainable fishing keeping the freaking Orcs out of the market. Well done Norway!
What's the name of this place, I will add it to my list to visit.
