just sold a property in Italy and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.
lets say the broker i invest at goes bankrupt how do i deal with stocks since it is not in my custody? is there any law that protect your assets or am i just fucked. i just find it shady.

401k is not the best .Its only benefit is the employer contribution. Only invest the minimum to get the highest match. Open a brokerage account and invest as much as you would on a 401k an X investments you can comfortably control where your money goes ( after you maxed your ROTH account)
What about determining the percentage of funds you put into each index fund and which index fund as there’s quite a few. And by determining I ofc mean which combo results in highest rate.
