Usually folks would have consumed the hawker/merchant vouchers but a lot of supermarket vouchers. The brilliant tip I recently received was to use the vouchers to buy ready-to-eat food at larger FairPrice / Cold Storage / Giant outlets that have space for dine-in. This way folks can still use the supermarket vouchers for daily meals. I see people buying two packs of food (usually consumed same day) to accumulate the min $10 voucher.
Such a helpful breakdown of year-end financial tips! Definitely making sure to spend those CDC vouchers and look into CPF top-ups before it's too late. Thanks for the reminder!
I am looking at Business expense tax reduction. Will I be able to deduct mobile expenses which I am using for work activities? Also what other common deductions can an average salaried employee make?
To add on to the CPF point, there is also the Matched Retirement Savings Scheme(MRSS) for those eligible. The Government will match every dollar of cash top-ups made to the RA of eligible members up to $600 per year. So don't waste the money given by government xD
