One way to minimize the anxiety out of stock market investing, is to make sure you keep a large cash cushion. I invest in the market, but never put all my money in market. I have been a dividend focused investor for a long time. This does not mean I don't own growth stocks, I do. A well rounded portfolio should be a mixture of both categories.
The stock market is definitely picking up pace right now, but I still think investors should be careful at this time. I'm actually a newbie in this space, so I'm open to hearing other investors' take on this.
SPX is overbought at the moment. It had a huge gap up after the election. It will correct. Short term correction likely to occur over the next week or two, just needs a little push. Easily can happen with CPI or jobs report coming out this week.
The market trend can turn around very quickly. In fact, the indexes often switch from a bear market to a bull market when the news is at its worst and the mood of investors is at its lowest point. I read an article of people that grossed profits up to $150k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?
Who knows who is behind the dnc but I say for sure they are globalists with vested interests in destroying the American economy and nation so that the people find it attractive to accept the one world dictatorship
But professor, are we just going to ignore what Elon Musk has said now that Trump has won. He literally said the market is going to crash based on the policies they will implement and Trump has said he is going to let Elon run wild. Should we not be worried about the 2 years of pain he says is coming now that Trump has won?
Honestly, I didn't like Harris or Trump, so didn't vote. But certainly willing to reap the financial rewards of Trump winning. I didn't see it coming this hard. I'm really glad I invested in a Bitcoin ETF a while back. So far today puts me up 40.77% since the end of Oct 2023. Sure beats 10% or 12% gain annually.
Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got to talking about investment and money. I started investing below the $100k mark and in the first 2 months, my portfolio was reading $234,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest a huge percentage of my profit and it got more interesting.! For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home at the beginning of summer

Amazing video, you work for 40yrs to have $1M in your retirement, meanwhile some people are putting just $10K into trading from just few months ago and now they are multimillionaires
I think it's important to stick to stocks that are immune to economic policies. I'm looking atPALANTIR and other AI stocks that have the potential to power and transform future technologies. It seems AI is the trajectory most companies are taking, including even established FAANG companies
I recently liquidated some long-term positions and now have about $250k to invest. Do you think Nvidia is still a smart buy, or have I missed a key buying window? Any recommendations for high-performing stocks would be appreciated.
How will electing a president who denies climate change affect the economy? I think denial will come back to haunt us. Science will have the last word. Reality will prevail.
Market highs can sometimes be followed by corrections, but predicting the timing and extent of it is challenging. I've heard some analysts talk about a 'massive' correction. It makes me wonder if it's time to adjust my $1M portfolios or maybe even consider some defensive investments.
Trump WILL crash the economy and cause inflation – expect a depression within 6 months! [You can't deport 15 million American workers and not replace them or install new tariffs]
Everyone thinks that the presidential election will affect the stock market, but you never see the true effects until years later. So everyone blames the current president, regardless who it is, when it's almost always the policy that was implemented years prior. Doesn't matter.
What do you think will happen to $$, interest rates, etc, if we don't get to a result until well into January after the courts and Congress get involved and the rest of the world perceive the US is unstable.
Hi Nolan – my views are: Harris win: continued stabilty, markets continue as they are this year with possible blip, start to increase 2025. America will be in safe hands with solid policies. No drama from her or the markets. Unless global wars, FedRes, inflation etc
Trump win: market instability this year, stabilising next year depending on FedRes, global wars, inflation etc. Trump is going to create a circus again. Under his presidency markets did well but that’s not much credit to him directly.
Do you really think 2026 will be the start of a bull period? On what basis?
Your strategy is sound. I like investing half now, and half as dollar cost average with an eye on a big dip.
My Q: I’m in the UK – how do I keep an eye out for dips, as in what site or app do I use? What % is considered a dip low enough to pour a lump sum in?
2:46 Wrong. You’re absolutely, positively, 100% wrong when you say the Market will rise with Trump if he wins in the beginning. The Market is mostly efficient, with exceptions in very small corners, but it’s not dumb. When Trump won in 2016, EVERYONE except for Shorts, lost EVERY profit made in 2019 immediately after his win. The Market KNEW Trump is a disaster for the country and the Market was proven right. Americans lost their 2015 profits, the Market sold because of his win. No, the Market does NOT believe he is a good businessman. He’s got more bankruptcies than ANY OTHER POLITICIAN!! What a stpd thing to believe! He is a failed businessman and a failed politician. Don’t forget a convicted felon. No, the Market will not rise with his win, it will tank like it did when he won in 2016.

It's interesting that people think the stock market hasn't been great the last couple years. It's done really well!! Hope it continues with Trump.

Hello Professor G, at the end of the video you mention 1 video about the best AI ETFs but there is no video. Can you share the link to that video?
🎉Market celebrates Trump's victory. Let's hope that this will continue all next 4 years😉🍷

Dude, the stock market has done really well under Joe Biden, not saying I’m a fan of him, but it really has
have a 3 fund portfolio but I have finally decided to invest in ETFs, alongside. I’m looking at SCHD, VOO, XLK or SCHG

Thank you for this very timely and helpful video!
weird 1230pm nov5 election day stocks are rising! is a trump victory going to happen?

I don't know who's going to win. What I know for sure is that unfortunately, neither Trump or Kamala are good candidates to run the country!
